Is not sony, is other brand, but is work perfect. As any len, you loose the integrated flash for photos, but you get better close filming and pictures.
You must get it if you have a small child!!!

I had a Sony DVD 305 that was a 25mm filter and I had a 0.45x lens for it. 37mm is a little different than a 25mm. I like the distortion you get with this lens. This one comes with a macro. If you use the macro, you get a just slightly above fisheye lens effect. I have no idea what it does without the macro. The lens is threaded awkwardly so that if you remove the macro, then you can just use the lens. The threads are opposite. SO you have to use the macro, unless you go get a ring for it. Thats too much stuff to fumble around with when out on location.
I give it a 4 for this.
